Standardized Patient

Currently, I am working as a Standardized Patient for DO students at the SHSU College of Osteopathic Medicine. Below is an ER simulation, where I worked with not only the DO students but also the Nursing students. I had the role of an asthmatic woman who was also pregnant. I had to memorize, the patients' background medical history, signs and symptoms, social history, and of course act as the patient. This job helps medical students get real-life experience before they head out into the world.
